In 1979, Dean Folkvord and his father Dale Folkvord started growing wheat on a small farming operation outside Three Forks, Montana. Over the years the Folkvord family turned a farm of a couple hundred acres into one of the model agricultural operations in the region, boasting more than 15,000 of the most prolific acres in the state of Montana. But it was Dean’s idea to take the growing of wheat a step further that made Wheat Montana one of the great success stories.
