Our next episode of Under the Big Sky will premier just in time for the holidays. You can watch the full-length stories for Cajune Boatbuilding, Fort Peck Theater and Don Greytak on Saturday, December 23rdat 6:00 PM and 10:35 PM on the Montana Television Network.

If you are travelling for the holidays or scrambling to wrap last-minute gifts you can also watch on Christmas Eve at 10:00 PM, Christmas Day at 5:30 PM, New Year’s Eve at 10:35 PM and New Year’s Day at Noon.

Jason Cajune is a custom boat builder living in Livingston, MT. With the help of a minimal crew Jason specializes in high-end, handmade, wooden drift boats. Over the years, Cajune Boatbuilding has developed an intriguing business model that favors quality of life over increased production.

The Fort Peck Summer Theater is located in the town of Fort Peck, MT. Despite a population of only a few hundred people, the town boasts a hybrid community/professional theater which often fills its nine hundred seats. Megan Wiltshire, a five season veteran, provides us with a behind-the-curtain look at life and work in Fort Peck.

Don Greytak is a pencil artist from Havre, MT. Don creates highly-detailed drawings depicting early farm and ranch life on Montana’s Hi-line. Drawing comparisons to Norman Rockwell, Greytak has developed an illustration style featuring drama, humor and extremely rich detail.
